Deployment Delivery

I love being an Airman's wife. Love love love being an Airman's wife.

I was born and raised in the Air Force and love the life of the military- with the exceptions of deployments.
My father was never deployed as his service was during peacetime. My husband on the other hand has been in for 5 years and has been deployed 3 times.

Deployments are hard on a family no matter the home situation, but we were given the worse deployment orders ever... My husbands second deployment was scheduled 4 weeks before our first child's due date.
Having to have our first child by myself (2 weeks early- so only 2 weeks after he left!) is something I would never wish on another spouse. I know single mothers do it all the time usually with support from extended family but since we are military and our daughter was early, my family had not made it into town yet. Single mothers have a different mind set then I did, I had a husband who I wanted to comfort me and be with me during this journey- our journey.

So why did I tell you this you may ask? Because I wish I could go back in time and have our first daughter birth captured on film. It was video taped, but to have the pictures to hold and flip thru would have been priceless for us. I know how much it would have meant to me- so I want to offer it to a fellow military family.
Regardless if this is your first child or 7th. I want to capture this special day for you and your deployed husband.
I will be giving one deployment delivery session to one lucky family.
So spread the word!
